In our case we wanted a treadmill to replace two pieces of exercise equipment: an Inspire Cardio Strider 2 and an older treadmill. I share the house with my parents and got the Cardio Strider 2 for my father after he had heart surgery several years ago. At the time, we thought it was a good investment but all the sitting hurt his hip and found the treadmill to be a better use of exercise time. I still used the CS2 because the treadmill is old and can really only be used to walk on it since its tread isn’t all that wide (17″) . – Mike-E

As someone who’s always on the lookout for ways to stay active and healthy, I find the Peloton Tread to be an incredible addition to my home gym. It’s not just a treadmill; it’s a full-body experience that truly brings the studio into my living room. Here’s why I love it:

  • Customizable Workouts: Whether I’m running, walking, or hiking, I can easily adjust the speed and incline to match my fitness level.
  • Convenience: With the Peloton All-Access Membership, I get unlimited access to live and on-demand classes that fit my schedule, making it so much easier to stay on track with my fitness goals.
  • Variety of Classes: From running and walking to yoga and strength training, it’s easy to switch up my routine and keep things exciting.
  • Progress Tracking: The real-time metrics displayed on-screen allow me to track my heart rate, calories burned, and distance covered, helping me see how I’m improving.

These features have made my workouts not only more enjoyable but also more effective.

What Could Be Better

While the Peloton Tread has a lot to offer, no product is without room for improvement. However, any drawbacks I’ve noticed are minor and don’t take away from the overall experience. Here’s what I think could be better:

  • Assembly Can Be Challenging: The setup process might be a bit complex for some, especially if you’re not particularly handy. But once it’s set up, it’s totally worth it.
  • Requires Membership: The Peloton All-Access Membership is essential for full functionality, which means there’s an additional monthly fee. However, considering the wealth of content it unlocks, it’s a small price to pay for such an immersive experience.
  • Heavy: At 250 pounds, it’s not the easiest to move around. But once it’s in place, it’s rock-solid and doesn’t move an inch during workouts.

Even with these small tweaks, the Peloton Tread still stands out as an excellent choice for anyone serious about their fitness journey.

By using it regularly and under different workout conditions, I’ve gained valuable insights into how it holds up.

My Personal Experience

I wanted to wait for some time to review and see how the treadmill operated over time. I have now over 100 miles on the treadmill. I was concerned because at around 25 miles I started getting a squeaking sound from the front left side when running that was cleared up but running the incline up to 1 but would return within a few seconds of returning to level. After a few days of this and concern that I was going to need to call for support it went away and has not returned. It appeared to be from where the machine rested on the stop on that side and there was some minimum motion that was causing this. I adjusted the position of the treadmill and it is in the garage on a level concrete floor so it is definitely a firm level surface.
Delivery is as expected by LTL freight but I met the driver and was ready with furniture dolly’s for the transfer. since my driveway is only 4 car lengths an nearly flat he offered to drop it in the garage so I just helped push it in. – PaPaMonkeys

I’ve been using the Peloton Tread for over 2 years now, and it’s become a central part of my fitness routine. Here’s what I think about it after all this time:

Design

The Peloton Tread design has truly impressed me. Its sleek, modern look fits perfectly in my home, and the large 24″ touchscreen is both visually appealing and functional. The overall design is minimalistic, which means it doesn’t take up too much space while still offering a premium feel. The buttons and knobs are intuitively placed, making it easy to adjust settings mid-workout without breaking my stride.

This product stands out for its design because it doesn’t just look good; it’s also highly functional, enhancing my workout experience.

Rating: 9/10

Performance

In terms of performance, the Peloton Tread delivers every time. The auto-incline feature is one of my favorites. It adjusts the incline seamlessly as per the instructor’s cues, which makes me feel like I’m in a real class. I also love the fact that I can reach speeds up to 12.5 MPH, which is perfect for both slow, steady walks and intense running sessions.

The ability to easily switch between different workouts, like hiking and running, makes it a standout. It never feels sluggish, and the real-time metrics keep me motivated and on track.

Rating: 9.5/10

Build Quality

The build quality of the Peloton Tread is exceptional. It’s sturdy, stable, and doesn’t wobble at all, even during intense running sessions. The frame is made of carbon steel, which adds durability without compromising on aesthetics. Even after months of daily use, I’ve noticed no signs of wear and tear. It feels solid, which is important when you’re spending money on a long-term investment.

What I Like Sole F80 Treadmill

In this section, I’m excited to share what makes the Sole F80 Treadmill stand out. After using it for a while, I can confidently say this machine ticks many boxes for anyone serious about their fitness journey. Here’s why I love it:

  • Strong Motor Performance: The 3.5 HP motor gives me consistent power, whether I’m walking, jogging, or sprinting.
  • Smooth, Spacious Running Surface: The 22″x60″ running area is perfect for my stride, offering comfort for long sessions.
  • Quiet Operation: Despite the powerful motor, the F80 operates quietly, so I can work without disturbing anyone.
  • Space-Saving Design: The foldable feature is a game-changer! I can store it easily when not in use without sacrificing performance.
  • Smart Technology Integration: Bluetooth capabilities let me sync with fitness apps and heart rate monitors, making it easy to track progress.

This treadmill helps me hit my fitness goals by combining high performance with user-friendly features.

What Could Be Better

So yeah i have had this for about 6 weeks and i would recommend it, but i hope someone from sole sees this the fans are laughable they do literally nothing except make lots of noise. They point at nothing Lots of room on the sides of the screen to put in some great fans. I got a great clip on recharging usb fan on amazon for like $40 Fans on a scale of 1 to 10……….1. Overall on treadmill 4.5 or so. – Blzzn 101

Nothing’s perfect, but there’s always room for improvement, right? Here are a couple of thoughts on how the Sole F80 Treadmill could be even better:

  • Larger Screen Options: The 10.1″ screen is great but having a larger screen, especially for those who prefer immersive workout experiences, could enhance the experience.
  • Slightly Softer Deck: While the deck is sturdy and spacious, I think a slightly softer running surface would add extra comfort, especially for longer runs.

That said, these are minor things compared to the treadmill’s overall performance, and I feel confident in recommending it to others. A few tweaks could make it even better, but it’s already amazing!

Why You Should Trust Me

I’ve been testing and using fitness equipment for years, and I understand the importance of getting the right gear for your goals. Here’s why you can trust my insights:

How I Tested Sole F80 Treadmill

Great product. It can control the speed and incline automatically based on the preset program, which can free my hands during workouts. – Yunfan Wang

In the morning When testing the Sole F80 Treadmill, I wasn’t just checking boxes. Here’s how I made sure to evaluate it thoroughly:

  • Diverse Workouts: I used the treadmill for everything—walking, running, and incline training. I wanted to see how it performs across different types of workouts.
  • Long-Term Testing: I’ve used it for over a year, which allows me to give a detailed account of its durability and consistency.
  • Real-World Setup: I tested the treadmill in my home gym, where space is limited, to check how it fits into everyday life.

My approach to testing makes sure I get the most accurate and honest results, and I’m happy to share these insights.

My Personal Experience

The treadmill has not worked since day one due to an E5 communication error. I called customer support, and they opened a ticket for me. The replacement parts arrived quickly, but the repair company they work with didn’t have availability for three weeks. I took a day off work for the technician’s visit, but the company didn’t even have the courtesy to inform me that they were not coming. I had to reach out to them after waiting, and now it will be another two weeks before they can send someone. Additionally, I am faced with a $250 charge for return shipping plus a restocking fee for a treadmill that cost $2,000 and never worked. Why do I need to pay for returning their faulty equipment? While SOLE support has been good, their return policy and the third-party repair company they use in my area have been crap. I do not recommend this treadmill. – Cecille

I’ve been using the Sole F80 Treadmill for over a year now, and I can honestly say it’s been a game-changer for my fitness routine. Here’s my breakdown:

Design

The design of the Sole F80 Treadmill is sleek and practical. It’s large enough to feel like a serious workout machine but doesn’t take up too much space. This treadmill offers the perfect balance of versatility and power, making it suitable for all fitness levels.

Rating: 10/10

The build quality of the Sole F80 Treadmill is top-notch. The alloy steel frame feels solid, providing the durability I need for daily use. Peloton Tread vs Sole F80 Treadmill Tested Review

I wanted a quiet motor that is capable of 1-2 hour runs, ability to do sprint intervals, and a decent incline ability. Perhaps this is worth 3 stars in todays market. Not sure since ive not run on other treadmills. Im not interested in subscriptions for unlock8ng material. Im payin $xxxx for the machine for God sake. Fans: they are positioned under the screen and are useless. The directional vent does not aim toward the face or chest. Cant feel it. The custom program sucks and was designed by a nonrunner or an EVIL runner. Whatever you program is divided into 20 points and percentages. Lots of math needed. Calcculator too. – I tried HIIT template once. Time set for 25 min. Max speed set for 9mph. The graph looks like 4 spikes of faster pace. Two of the 4 look like they will be max at 9mph. Awesome. Lets goo! It starts me at 1.8 mph walk!! Seriously? I stopped the workout. Not worth it. – Lee-V
