It’s a fantastic opportunity for Taekwondo practitioners, and honestly, if you’re serious about the sport, this is something you absolutely need to consider. I’ve been following World Taekwondo’s initiatives for years, and their commitment to global collaboration and high-level training truly shines through in programs like this.
Who Can Apply?
Now, let’s talk about getting in. If you’re thinking of applying, there are a few key qualifications. You’ll need a formal recommendation letter from a World Taekwondo-recognized MNA (Member National Association), which gives you selection priority. Participants must also be at least 16 years of age in the calendar year the program is held and physically capable of handling the intense practical components. Oh, and here’s a big one: preference is given to Black Belt holders, with the highest priority going to those with Kukkiwon-certified Black Belts.
My advice? If you meet these, definitely go for it – your dedication to Taekwondo will shine through, said Coach Ehatasamul.
