History of USA Taekwondo Poomsae
In the world of Taekwondo, no one does it quite like the USA. For decades, the US has held a stranglehold on Taekwondo’s highest levels. But after several years of stagnation, the sport is about to change. On April 23rd, a new team made up of athletes from all over the country will compete in the US National Team Trials in Philadelphia.
Only one nation has ever won the coveted title of ‘best Taekwondo nation’ — the USA. If the US can continue its dominance, it will retain this status for many years to come. The tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

In conclusion,
The goal of this project is to build a database of information on all Taekwondo Poomsae that were tested by the North American Taekwondo Federation and published in the United States of America Taekwondo magazine.
We hope to expand this database over time, adding new and updated information on all existing and future Poomsae. This is a labor of love, so we’re doing this for fun. We’re doing it in our spare time, and we’re open to suggestions from anyone who would like to join us.
The United States of America Taekwondo Poomsae ranking 2023 is divided into four separate groups, each consisting of 30 men and 30 women. Each division contains six sub-divisions of 10 athletes, each of which has to pass two tests: a test to rank athletes according to age, and a test to rank athletes based on points earned from winning tournaments.
