What I Love
Love these so much. Helped me get a good workout outside of the gym. – eddie
- Incredible Versatility: This 4-in-1 dumbbell set is a true space-saver! I love how easily it transforms from dumbbells to a barbell, kettlebell, or even push-up stands. It’s like having a mini-gym in one compact package, perfect for my home workout setup.
- Space-Saving Design: Living in a smaller apartment, I really appreciate how little room this free weight set takes up. When not in use, it tucks away neatly, making it ideal for anyone with limited space who still wants to stay fit.
- Comfortable and Secure Grip: The hexagonal plates are a genius touch; they don’t roll away mid-workout, which is a huge safety plus. The non-slip handle also feels really secure, even when my hands get a bit sweaty during intense sessions.
- Quality Weight Plates: The weight plates feel solid and well-made. I was worried about potential leaks from other sets, but these iron sand plates with their density feel premium and durable, giving me confidence they’ll last.
What Could Be Better
I am someone who works out regularly and since I moved into a new place, I decided to make a home gym. I have several pieces of equipment, but I always keep an eye out for ones that I could benefit from. And an adjustable dumbbell is something that I really wanted for a while, but the large brand name one was quite expensive. –PDR
- Connector Durability Perception: While the barbell connector works well, some users might initially wonder about its long-term durability with very heavy use. Reassurance about its strength through detailed material information could be beneficial.
- Instruction Clarity for Beginners: The included training guide is helpful, but for absolute beginners, a few more step-by-step visuals or online video tutorials for assembling and using each of the four functions could make the initial setup even smoother.

How I Tested
I have 5 different brands of selectable dumbbells, All have their good and their bad. None are perfect. I have only one other that is actually smoother in making the selection. The handle is pretty good also – slightly above average, Some I have are contoured, which I do not really like, The handles I like best are on dumbbells that are way more expensive than theses. Taking them in and out of the cradle is really not that bad, again I would say above average of the 5 I have. Yes this only goes up to 25 lbs (I have ones all the way up to 90 lbs) but I can’t knock it for that because that is exactly what the description says.
And again Yes – I only received one, but again I knew that when I ordered this, so I can’t knock it for that. I did not do a serious “drop” test on these, While I do think you could damage them if dropped from any real height, I do think they are better designed than two of the others I have. (my 90 lb powerblocks are indestructable in my opinion) This does not come with a stand, but if you get two there is a nice universal stand made by FitRX that is only $ 49. – tim hasselbeck
I put this Rendpas Adjustable Dumbbells Set through its paces for several weeks. I used it for various exercises, transitioning frequently between dumbbell curls, barbell squats, kettlebell swings, and push-ups. When I tested the ease of adjusting weights, the stability of the connector during barbell work, and the grip comfort during long sets. I also noted how quickly I could switch between different configurations, ensuring it genuinely delivers on its 4-in-1 promise.

My Personal Experience
My biggest complaint is that you only get ONE dumbbell! This means that you would have to spend $200 for two dumbbells. You can get full sets, with racks, or benches, etc, for that amount of money. So, while this set is very cool, I think that it should come with two dumbbells. Furthermore, it has a limit of 25 lbs. – and since you cannot add plates onto it, it is limiting for more seasoned athletes/bodybuilders.
Overall, I’m happy with the dumbbell, and it is very cool….but since it only comes with one, it is very limiting for your workout. It is not compatible with other dumbbells. – penname
I have been using Rendpas adjustable dumbbells for about six months now, and they have completely reshaped my home workouts.
Design
Rating: 9/10
The design of the Rendpas Adjustable Dumbbells Set is incredibly thoughtful. The hexagonal shape of the plates is a simple yet brilliant feature; it stops them from rolling all over my living room floor, which is a huge relief when I’m trying to focus on my form.
The orange knobs for adjusting the weight are easy to twist, making transitions between exercises smooth and quick. It’s truly designed for a user-friendly experience, making my workouts efficient and safer. It’s truly like a chameleon in my home gym, adapting to whatever exercise I throw its way.
Performance
Rating: 9.5/10
In terms of performance, this home gym workout set truly shines. The ease of switching between dumbbells, a barbell, and a kettlebell has transformed my routines. I can seamlessly transition from bicep curls to squats or even kettlebell swings without missing a beat or needing multiple pieces of equipment.
The weight feels accurate and balanced, providing a stable and effective workout. I’ve genuinely seen improvements in my strength and endurance since incorporating these into my routine. This set has removed so many barriers to consistent training, making fitness feel effortless.
Build Quality
Rating: 9/10
The build quality of this free weight set is really impressive. The highly compacted iron sand plates feel incredibly sturdy and I’ve had absolutely no issues with leakage, a common concern with some other adjustable sets. The PP material wrapped steel handle feels robust and the non-slip texture provides a secure grip, even during my sweatiest sessions. It feels like a solid, well-constructed piece of equipment that’s built to withstand regular use. Knowing it’s durable gives me confidence that this investment will support my fitness journey for a long time.
Rendpas Adjustable Dumbbells Set Tested Review
After using the Rendpas Adjustable Dumbbells Set for several weeks in my small home gym, I’ve gotten a real feel for how it performs during daily workouts. While it offers smart design and great versatility, a few quirks showed up along the way.
What I struggle with, and how it could be better
At first, I loved the 4-in-1 feature, especially for saving space. But over time, I found some parts slightly tricky when I was in a rush to switch exercises.
A clever design—but not without a learning curve
Problem
The twist knobs that connect and change functions aren’t always smooth. During circuit workouts, I had to slow down and re-tighten a few times.
Solution
With a bit of practice, I figured out how to set everything up properly before starting. Pre-checking all parts helped me keep workouts flowing without hassle.
My Thoughts in Context

It saves space, it looks clean, and it’s genuinely helpful whether you’re just starting or building muscle at home.
